David has worked as a paramedic for British Columbia Ambulance for thirty years. For the last seventeen years David has been a Flight Paramedic with the world renowned Neonatal / Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team. As one of the initial members of the ECMO transport program in British Columbia, David has transported multiple patients on heart / lung bypass in both the air and on the ground.

David was also previously Director of Medical Operations for the Vancouver Griffins Women’s Hockey team, of the NWHL. He was responsible for organizing all aspects of medical care for these high-level athletes while at home and traveling.

David joined Executive Air Ambulance three years ago, bringing with him his knowledge and expertise of aero-medical transports, with a focus on the population’s sickest and most fragile patients.

David maintains licensure in good standing under the paramedic licensing authority in British Columbia at the critical care level.
